HR Generalist

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join a rapidly expanding U.S. upholstery manufacturer located in High Point, NC. This direct hire position is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about shaping culture, systems, and employee experience within a high-growth production environment. With the company expecting to double its headcount by 2026, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and North Carolina employment laws.
  • Maintain personnel files and HR documentation.
  • Support performance reviews and corrective actions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to support full-cycle recruitment.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Support timekeeping (Hubstaff), PTO tracking, and payroll coordination.
  • Assist with benefits administration.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives (budget provided).
  • Conduct investigations and prepare corresponding documentation.
  • Reinforce company values throughout the facility.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience.
  • Strong understanding of North Carolina employment law.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing or warehousing preferred.
  • Ability to foster a healthy workplace culture.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $26.44 - $31.25 per hour
